Authorities in Belleville responded to a call on Wednesday regarding a male found with a gunshot wound in the 5900 block of Brett Michael Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered the individual deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as Victor McCoy.
A preliminary investigation conducted by the police suggests that the death appears to be the result of an apparent suicide.
